The exit strategy I want to plan is to sell my company to a larger national company like Lime or Bird in a couple years for at least a couple million dollars. I plan on using my current venture to fund my future endeavors. I think that my exit strategy has not affected my choices in directing my venture. I have always wanted to grow my venture regardless of how it ends.

  1. Hi Ethan!

I found your exit strategy to be concise and straight to the point. I feel that in a few years, I would definitely consider selling my company to a larger one, as a lot of the time, companies tend to appreciate having the resources that smaller companies have, in which case, innovation might make you stand out. While you mentioned your exit strategy not affecting your choices, I felt the opposite way, as knowing where I wanted or expected my company to go definitely influenced my business strategy.

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hi Ethan,

I like that your exit strategy is so blunt because to me this means that you are very certain about your decisions. I do agree with you that it would be a good idea to sell your company to a bigger one, especially if you can make a good amount of money. Sometimes its best to do so than to try to take on something that is not worth it in the end. I hope that you can use this venture to fund future ventures and that you keep thinking of new great ideas! good work!

  3. Hey Ethan,

I like your thinking for your exit strategy because it is simple and clear with great benefits. You want to get into the business so that the bigger names will see you and respect you enough to where they want to buy you out because you are such a force in their business that they would benefit so much from taking control of your portion. I think this is the real goal of an entrepreneur that is trying to make money and provide for his family and what many people do to become millionaires and billionaires.

  4. Hi Ethan,

I found it interesting to see that we took different approaches to our exit strategies. I chose to keep my venture and see it through. However, we will have a lot of similar approaches. I plan to use this venture to provide for other ventures. I also plan to grow and expand the company regardless of a future plan to sell.
