1) I am a kid from Bal Harbour Florida and so much more. Some of my talents include me being good at understanding science, math, and finance, as well as my ability to problem solve and create new ideas. My skills are an avid understanding of Microsoft Office as well as understanding how to use ThinkOrSwim by TDAmeritrade, 3D Fusion by Adobe. My aspirations are to one day get onto Wall Street and start my own hedge fund. If this business were to start right now I could see it taking up a significant portion of my time and focus.
2) I am offering to customers a technology that would allow for the wireless charging of their devices from the moment they set foot inside the room.
3) I am offering this to anyone that has a newish mobile device that wants to forget about the responsibility of having to plug in your phone every so often because with this technology your phone will charge wherever you go within range. Everyone hates it when their phones run out of battery and with this device that problem simply disappears.
4) My product is valuable to people but only as much as customers value the problem of their phones running out of business disappearing. Customers should actually pay me money for my product because of the service of assuring that your phone runs out of battery less and the instantaneous initiation of charging.
5) What sets my design apart from everyone else is that the current technology available to consumers is only capable of charging devices within a couple centimeters whereas my device is capable of charging on the scale of the size of a room. What I have is a genius marketing team and a fantastic product idea.
I feel as though these five elements fit together perfectly. Not only is this technology revolutionary but it also fixes some of the problems with modern day wireless charging like the distance required and this technology has the potential to even charge faster than wireless charging as of this moment. A lot of people would be interested in purchasing this technology just because of how big of a benefit they would gain by having this technology in their house.
Hey Ethan, you really do have many valuable attributes. Your idea is super unique and Iv'e never thought of something like that! I could see it taking over the world and at some point having everywhere charge your phone once technology continues to expand. Definitely a good idea!
ReplyDeleteHi Ethan! I loved your personal descriptor, as it's really nice to hear about what personal skills you have that are relevant to what you're trying to do. Your understanding of software relevant to the industry you're trying to work in makes me a lot confident when it comes to perhaps wanting to work with you. I love that you chose to focus on wireless power delivery, as despite many innovations coming out that make it so that phones charge faster, I feel that there are no truly ergonomic situations that allow for users to unobtrusively charge their devices. While I currently do not have a device that supports wireless charging, I can see how this would definitely be a game changer, as it would cut down on e-waste that would otherwise be used to manufacture cables and charging pads as one might eventually be able to charge multiple phones under a single roof. I can definitely see this technology having multiple benefits!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Hi Ethan,
ReplyDeleteTwo things come to mind when reading your post. First, how are you going to ensure that the energy used for charging the phone goes directly to the phone and does so consistently as that person moves about the room? Also, how do you ensure that only the phones using your service get charged? I am not the most well versed in computer science or technology so these might b really easy questions. Other than that, I think you have that of a great business plan. I would definitely use it!
Hi Ethan,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your post and think your idea is definitely an idea of the future and if it works out it could be a whole new wave of technology. I don't really understand exactly how this would work, but I know that there would be plenty of people that would enjoy the benefits of this kind of innovation. I think that in order to take this idea to the next level you would really have to explain the technology behind this innovation to people in order to convince them why they should invest in the idea. However, it is a really inventive concept and I applaud that.
